Today is Remembrance Day, a day to remember and reflect on those people who have sacrificed so much so that we can live the lives that we currently have. Last year we had the opportunity to spend Remembrance Day with Leslie’s Dad, Tom, who serviced in World War II. The three of us, along with Leslie’s Brother and Sister-In-Law, Murray and Anne-Marie, attended the Remembrance Day Ceremony in Pitt Meadows, B.C. I was really impressed with the number of people that came out that damp and cool morning, especially with the number of families. It is great to see that the children are learning about the importance of this day. I think it really made Tom’s day when a young boy came over to him after the ceremony and thank him. Hopefully we all will take a moment today to remember those sacrifices that people made for us. Mark
