On March 16th, our very good friends Darwin Wiggett and Samantha Chrysanthou at oopoomoo.com will be holding their Persistent Vision: the Photographic Pursuit of Story and Inspiration seminar at Bragg Creek, Alberta. The full day photography seminar will include stunning images and presentations by Samantha and Darwin, as well as acclaimed world and humanitarian photographer David duChemin. In addition there will be a panel discussion with a number of professional photographers. We are really looking forward to this seminar and we would encourage anyone who can make the trip to Bragg Creek to attend this incredible photographic seminar. We hope to see you there.
Last year, in conjunction with the announcement of the Persistent Vision seminar oopoomoo ran a monthly photo contest for six months called “Walkabout”. The images had to be taken around your home or within a short distance from it as you could only use non-motorized transportation (i.e., walking, biking, etc.) to get to your subject. We thought that this was a great idea so we decided to go out and capture a few images specifically for the contest. We entered five images and luckily the independent judge (not Darwin or Samantha) chose Leslie’s Supermail Box image as the August Winner, and in the other months we had four images picked as runners-up. Below are the images we entered.

See you there.
Absolutely, it will be great to finally meet you. Leslie
