Each June since 2009 we have been holding our “Women Only Photography Workshops” at the eco-award winning Aurum Lodge located in the heart of the Canadian Rocky Mountains of Alberta.
This year we will again be offering two workshops:
Landscape and Nature Photography – Beyond the Basics I – June 6th to 9th, 2013
Landscape and Nature Photography – Beyond the Basics II – Taking your photography further – June 13th to 16th, 2013
These workshops are limited to a maximum of 7 participants, giving plenty of opportunity for individual attention.
So if you are a lady (or know of a lady) that enjoys taking pictures at an advanced beginner or intermediate level and would like to advance your photography skills, then these workshops may be just what you’re looking for. So head over to our workshops page to find out more information on them.

The area around Aurum Lodge has many great photographic locations but we may also get the opportunity to view and photograph wildlife such as bighorn sheep or flowers like the Calypso Orchids. Calypso Orchids also known as Fairy Slippers are one of the earliest orchids to flower in the Rockies, usually in late May to mid June.
